  • Level 100 LLSI Certificate Course - Cohort 2
    May 17, 2021 - May 26, 2021
    12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
Key dates:
  • May 17 (Monday), 18 (Tuesday) and 19 (Wednesday) from 12-1 pm eastern (live lectures and discussions)
  • May 20 (Thursday) from 12 – 2 pm eastern (case study team collaboration and coaching)
  • May 26 (Wednesday) from 12 – 2 pm eastern (case study presentations)
  • On Day 2, team assignments are announced. There is a short breakout in class so that groups can schedule time to meet outside of “class” to complete work on the case study and prepare for presentations (plan for about 3 hours of work outside class)

Each participant will receive calendar invitations with meeting information and access to course materials and resources. Every cohort is limited in number to ensure an effective ratio for an engaging, immersive learning experience.

With your cohort, you’ll complete three, one hour courses. Then, you’ll work with a team (attend with your own or we will assign you to one) on a case study involving a fictitious law firm, with work culminating in a presentation to guest judges. You should plan on a total of 10-12 hours hours, with 7 “in class ” and workshops and 3-5 outside of class collaborating with your team.
Then, you’ll collaborate on a case study with coaching from an expert, present with your team, and receive immediate feedback and guidance from a panel of Visiting Scholars in Continuous Improvement and Innovation who serve as judges. We’ll help you prepare for success in your own organization with a range of ideas and options for next steps and getting started.
Each cohort in our virtual programs will work with different instructors, including Black Belts, industry leaders, and operational excellence experts, and will be guided through the experience by Catherine Alman MacDonagh, CEO and Founder of the Legal Lean Sigma Institute LLC. Teams will be coached on the case studies by Mo Zain Ajaz and will benefit from Mo’s experience as General Counsel and Group Head of Legal Operational Excellence for National Grid.
