|Legal Lean Sigma® and Project Management
not just about doing more with less. It's
about doing the right things and consistently doing them right.
Why Process Improvement
and Project Management?
has translated PI and PM concepts, frameworks, and tools specifically for the legal profession. PI/PM is about doing the right
thing right - the first time - every time.
The PI/PM combination enables us to improve teamwork
and communication, reduce wasteful activities, discover best practices, and increase value for everyone. We have developed tried and true methods that translate to legal
and business processes. We start with "voice of the client" and employ PI to discover better (even innovative!)
ways to perform and deliver our work in a way that benefits both the client and the firm / legal department.
Legal Lean Sigma Institute
provides expert consulting support and programs that take you, your organization, and your clients to new levels of excellence:
- Consulting services that encompass the spectrum of organizational
development and structuring, including program design, needs assessments, competitive positioning, advisory services to leaders,
compensation redesign, governance, marketing of PI/PM programs, as well as pricing, practice management and other "P"s.
- Education and skill development through certification courses, workshops, retreats,
and keynote addresses
- Process improvement project design,
facilitation, and support
All of our
work is specific to the legal profession. We believe there is no one, right way to do this work. So, whether we are working
with a law firm, legal department, service provider, vendor, or legal aid office either individually or in a collaborative
setting, each and every engagement
is tailored to the unique needs of our clients.
Legal Lean Sigma® programs are the first to be designed exclusively for the legal profession. You don't have to spend your time and energy bridging
concepts from manufacturing because we did it for you. We use relevant case studies, examples, and success stories from law firms and legal
departments so that you can learn about Six Sigma, Lean and PM in the context of what is most important to you.
From a recent evaluation of a privately delivered Yellow Belt Certification Course:
"We received a complete introduction to this very comprehensive
material in a way that allowed us to take away practical means to begin implementing the concepts as part of our work. Your
facilitation met the class at its various participant needs and your design/structure allowed the teams to work on practical
application in a way that reinforced the concepts via your own work/design." 3/27/2017
